Primarily for the people and excellent clinical training.  There is a strong sense of community amongst the AFP residents, faculty, and staff.  The TY's are integrated well with the family medicine residents and the faculty are deeply invested in each resident's professional growth and success.  Additionally, the breadth and depth of clinical experiences available here offer plenty of opportunities for me to strengthen my foundation in clinical medicine in a supportive environment.  The program really strives to tailor residents' experiences to their individual professional interests.
