My hometown is about 45 minutes away from Altoona, so I grew up coming to Altoona Curve games and shopping at the Logan Valley Mall most every weekend. I was fortunate enough to come back to the area and complete a few clinical rotations at AFP during my 3rd and 4th years of medical school. The resident physicians that I worked with took me under their wings and served as excellent role models during my time here, going above and beyond to help me progress as a medical student. I was also excited to see how many different roles a Family Physician could fill and felt that I would receive an abundance of valuable learning opportunities while serving the patients of AFP. The Faculty, Staff, and Residents all made me feel like a valued member of the AFP Family as a medical student, which helped solidify that this would be a wonderful place for me to continue to develop into a future Family Medicine Physician.
Watching and playing sports (especially Penn State and Pittsburgh pro teams). Spending time with my family and our pets, traveling, camping, fishing, cooking, and watching Star Wars and marvel movies/shows.
