Family Medicine Interests
After years of practicing Orth/MSK med in Nepal, I wanted to broaden my skills and become a comprehensive physician capable of caring for everyone. I hope to combine my MSK background with full spectrum primary care and possibly pursue Sports Medicine.
Why did you choose AFP?
I choose UPMC Altoona because of its strong commitment to broad spectrum Family Medicine, hands-on training and strong OMM training. I had been to this area before and I like the beautiful mountain scenery, and the peaceful environment here reminds me of home in Nepal
Hobbies
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending quality time with my family. I do love hiking. I also like to play and watch cricket. I also enjoy soccer.
