Family Medicine Interests

I’m interested in a bit of everything, which is why I went into Family Medicine and why training at a program like AFP was so important – so that I can really practice full-spectrum medicine. My Individual Curricular Concentration (ICC) is in dermatology, and I am currently applying for Palliative Medicine fellowships.

Why did you choose AFP?

The people. From the faculty to the staff to the residents, everyone here is and have been amazing. The program has constantly improved in the short time that I have been here, and the faculty honestly listen to our feedback (no, I’m not paid to write this). In addition, AFP is academically strong, and the program has a very reasonable work-life balance.

I enjoy playing video games, board games, cooking, and hanging out with my friends. I used to be a decent badminton player until I went to med school and became a potato.
