Why did you choose AFP?
I chose AFP because it seemed to be the most organized family medicine program in terms of its curriculum, call/rotation schedules, and staff responses during the application process. I had a very positive impression during my on-site interview and tours where residents and staff genuinely appeared happy. I was also attracted to the idea of having an individualized curriculum track where I would be able to focus on my specific interests within the scope of family medicine. I also liked its centralized location away from the busy city life so I could cool down between my work and studies, but also have easy access to urban areas like Pittsburgh and Baltimore/DC for weekend foodie outings. To top it off, it also offered the best benefits package. It was a win-win-win!
